NOS Bottle Info

Hello
I know this really has nothing to do with Nitrious however I need a bit of a hand being green to the NOS world. I want to use an NOS tank as an oil tank on a custom motorcycle. It needs to hold 3 litres (US quarts) of oil and have a bit of air space room left over. Is there a tank that would hold close to this volume and if so, does anyone know the dimensions? Thank You.

The 2lb nitrous bottle is 10.25" by 4.375" and is fairly common. However if my math is correct it will be alittle small. A liter is a bit larger than a quart but the 2lb bottle should hold 2.66 US quarts.

Thank you. 1 US quart is actually 0.94 of a litre. (pretty close) If a 2 lb bottle will hold 2.66 US quarts that's close enough for me. This bike is more for show but does need to run. From factory it holds 3 US quarts so with a cooler, I should be OK. Thanks so much!

You could do a 2.5 pound bottle as well it is the same diameter as a 2lb just a little taller.

Some of your oil will also be trapped in the lines and at the pickup, so actuall amount the container needs to hold will be slighter smaller. I do have Blk Power Sport 2.5 bottles if ya need one? and smaller NANO bottles (in back ground, 2.5lb fore ground)?
