finally getting to work !!

Yep, the 55, 56, 57 days were the good ole days for sure. We had a 55 that was shortened into the front doors. Man it was so short as to not track correctly and ended up rolling and being left in a ditch up by Mount Rainer, lol. I have owned over 20 of them back in the day...

got the rest of the floor bar's in, waiting for some C/M tab's for the seat bar then we'll bend the rear frame rail's and it's off to be welded.



can't wait till the body's back on to start the body work.

more done, had a bud come over and bend the back frame rails wed.

also got the seat tabs in


and shock tabs


just need to trim the frame lenght and reinstall body and can get started on main cage.

will be doing more welding this sat.
been pretty much at a stand still the last 2 week's, motor need's a new set of piston's ( lifted ring lands ) so don't belive it when the say " better fat than lean".
but it doe's let me bump up the C/R now...yep'eee will soon see 14:1 to 1.

well got the frame welded up, I'll throw up a pic later, fund's have been at a all time low right now, will talk to engine builder this week about the new piston's ( $800.00+ )
been working on the body welding up the sheet metal, door post's, firewall..ect.

been kind'a lazy on the car, been in the studio with the band putting the final touch's on the disk.
will be back in shop sunday.

Everything is looking awesome Matt. I know what you mean about low funds and feeling lazy, or for me not motivated. I'm ready for winter to be over. What flavor of music are you working on. Are you still going to talk to us when you become famous?

yeah motivation is loooow, there's a lot I can do without fund's ( been stashing bit's and piece's here and there) just getting out there to do it is the problem.
and gutting the old car....sad..very sad.

getting ready to chop the top this week...that should be fun
new piston's will be coming soon also..lifted a few ring lands on 4 of them, bumping it up to 14 to 1.
once the top is done I'll start back on the cage. $$ permitting.
