can anyone tell me what a 2 inch spacer will change. except for the height of my carb.

It will raise the peak operating power range by a few rpm, and lower some of your low end torque. Nothing drastic.

some spacer's are made to isolate the carb from the manifold, keeping it cooler, there are also a few out there that will strait'n the air flow resulting a few xtra hp, the problem is you need a dyno to figure out which one . 1", 2," 3", ??? wood, plastic, alum.?????
