Heres the scoop,I bought a used nos cheater system at a swap meet.Installed it on my 355 11:1,solid cam, dart heads, ect.I run a holley blue set at 6psi.I ran the 125 shot which is the .061 fuel and the .055 nos jets.My problem is it doesnt seem to rev very fast at all.I ran a power shot years back and at idle it was almost instant redline, this cheater set up really lags. The motor revs faster without the juice than with it,not together just tried one at a time, rev the throttle and then hit the button for a split second.I have checked the fuel pressure at the jet and inspected everything for cloggs but have come up empty.
I have not driven it yet because I want to make sure everything is safe.My only thought is the bottle was cool but I am not experienced enough to know if that would cause a dramatic decrease in power. If I rev the motor above 3000rpm and then hit it,there is some kind of small miss. But I get off the button pretty fast when I here the miss.Does anyone have any advice for a dummy?

do you have any sort of air/fuel guage? if so, what does it read with nitrous?
could be a couple pther things besides this such as clogged nitrous solenoid, restrictive filter if you have one, ets. but you are probably running to rich. the sites jet calculator sais that the setting for 6psi fuel, .055n2o, 1250psi nitrous (very high, just in case the bottle gets to hot) should be: n2o-.055, fuel-.054 or .055. but these numbers can range slightly fom brand to brand
do you have any track times before and after the nitrous? the "safety" standars have changed from years ago since nitrous has gotten a bad name from the fast and the furious (type of movies and rumors), lol. Running real rich prevents stupid people from hooking it up wrong and blowing up their daily drivers, so they have gotten pretty rich compared to what you were probably used to back in the day, which is more of what the jetting should be to get better hp gains.
just be sure to get an air/fuel guage and read the plugs at a minimum once you start decreasing the fuel jet so you dont blow up your engine, lol.
edit: just re-read your post, be sure your bottle pressure is at the manufaturers recomended pressure before you start lowering the fuel jet sizes.

Yes, that could be the issue and making it seems sluggish. It should rev fast as you stated, so something is up. Whenever I buy a used system the first thing i do is to rebuild the noids, as we normally don't know the condition, and often times that is the reason a kit is sold; it's not working correctly. So make sure everything is in good working order, get it tuned and that will likely pin point your issue if it's not mechanical. Good luck and let us know what you find.
