I'm not griping, just wondering. I posted a thread about fuel hose in the fuel injections section. I also posted it in the general nitrous section because it's related to nitrous. Like someone replacing their fuel pumps to accomodate the nitrous system. Why did the post in the general section get deleted?

Even if it applies in both areas?

yep. In the future, a simple search will bring it back up, no matter which sub-forum it was in. However, having 2 of the same topics can confuse other readers/posters and takes up more server space.

I can't see posting two of the same threads confusing people but server space, I can see that.

yea, and this is still a small enough forum where we still just go day to day rather then forum to forum like bigger forums.

personally, it should have stayed in the general section, as it applies to all. i'll move it to there.
having the same exact subject in two different areas can cause discussion issues. you have one discussion, then some may happen to have that answer in the other thread. that's where confusion would set in. server space is minimal.
