here's a nifty little device to help you with figuring out what fuel jet to use with a given nitrous jet. even calculates how much engine and rwhp for that given scenario.

Not sure if I am using it right, but have entered data and clicked the calculate button and nothing seems to happen. Is there something I am missing?:confused:

What information are you putting in? Make sure you fill in "number of nitrous jets", otherwise it gets thrown off.

Putting in all the info I have even tried putting down 2 for "number of nitrous jets" just to see it was not working by putting in 1. Still no joy!

When it tells you the correct jet sizes to use -- can you mix jets with kits?

Nitrous Express advertises that their jets are superior to other companies jets, but their availibility for a wide range of sized jets is limited. Summit sells NOS Stainless flare jets, would this have any impact on the performance of the NX Kit?

Steve i'm not sure what to tell you. can you post up the exact numbers to that you're putting in?

and as for mixing jets, NOS has a thinner base of the jet. You can use NOS jets on an NX kit, but you cannot use NX jets on an NOS kit. However, the jet size still represents the same thing (ex. "30" means .030" or 30/1000"), so to answer your question, yes. can mix and match on certain occasions.

NX jets are tapered inlet. the NOS are flat with the restriction in the neck portion.

works for me. here's what i put in

Fuel Pressure 60
Nitrous Pressure 1000
Nitrous Jet Size .063
Number of Jets 1
hit the calculate button and got this
Fuel Jet Size Needed .033
Predicted HP 179
Actual HP to Wheels 152.15

I will try it on another computer just in case there are some settings on this computer blocking it working!

Or it could be your browser having PHP issues. What browser are you using? It works fine for me in Internet Explorer and FireFox. but then again, NitrousForum.com is a PHP run web site, so if you're having problems with a simple PHP calculator, then this web site would probably not even be visible to you...

Dang that mullet is all kind of sexy and i aint talking goat farm sexy either
