does it matter if i run with a vacum secondary holley or should i run double pumper?
my car is 82 g body, 355chevy, single plane intake, 9.82compression, cast pistons (hypers) dart iron eagle heads, hooker headers ,lunati flat tappet cam .515 lift @300 --- can not get 12 out of it so i started using spray all i have used so far was a 75 shot suggestions pleasebest time so far 13.20@105mph

Leave the vac secondary to the car show guys. Go get a double pumper

doouble dunker is hte better choice when it comes to performance. vacuum secondary carbs are for, well, cars not looking for performance.

have you tryed changing the spring in the secondary dia.? also what is the rear end ratio?
as for performace I disagree you can make a vac. secondary carb work, it just take's a little effort,what model is it?

780 holley, springs have been changed to be at full open at 3000 rpm nitrous comes on at 3200

what color spring is that?
anyhow if the secondary's are open before the nitrous is activated it's a goodthing, but as power increase's manifold vac. drop's (as with the activation of the nitrous) the secondary's may start to close some, so you should use the lightest spring in the group(I belive that would be the purple one) this will perment the secondary's to recover quickly
also what distribuator(sp) are you using? is the timming locked out?

I didnt know that, I'm going to change my carb spring right now if I can find them, lol.

factory distributer no vacum advance 35 degrees@2500rpm msd 6al box
plug gaps set to 35
