Well I have been at the strip this weekend, and have decided it is time to get a rpm window switch, as I missed thrid hit the rev limiter and had a small pop back just enough to see the effect on the filter top.:( I am think of getting the MSD-8969 (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MSD%2D8969&N=700+115&autoview=sku) it is adjustable with push buttons rather then having to buy the pills, that way as the motor gets stronger I can up the revs!

I have that one its really nice, just dont mount it in the engine bay. They tend to rest themselves when the vibrate. Most guys have foudn that by mounting them in the car the problem stops.

I was thinking of mounting it on the trans tunnel near where I have mounted the other controls for the Nos. Regarding vibrations I have a Raptor shift light mount on the steering colum, and of late that has been resetting itself when I am going down the strip. I think that could be due to vibartions. I was thinking of mounting an alley plate on some rubber cotton reels to mount the RPM switch.

I've used a few of these digital window switches with great success and would agree anyone with a manual gearbox should use one.

I don't think I will ever run nitrous again without a window switch. I use the one in my Digital 7 box.
