In your User CP, on the left side down at the bottom under Miscellaneous, it says Paid Subscription. I assume this would make someone a paid member and they would get a member # and have benefits that un-paid members wouldn't.

basically, that is what it is. currently, we do not have it to where there's any benefits to it.

once implemented, it will help to defer the costs of running the board and paying for upgrades. right now, this is a free board to all users. later on, we may add a gallery so people can upload pictures. this takes up bandwidth and space. so, it would cost us money.

oh shat....i didn't realize that was even there...

yep that's a little something for the future. I'm hoping to implement a subscription type of deal with upgradeability. This will, of course, be after all of our stuff, such as the photo gallery, is in place. You'll get more of the good stuff..the more you pay, the more you get.

It's still in the works...i'll just sweep that under the rug right now and pretend it was never there....:wink_smilie:

Cool. I'm all about some membership fees. I think it's good to help keep the site optimized and to fund further promotions.

Yeah I know one day we'll need a more powerful server. but that's all down the long road. :)
