2007 BMW 335I using an NX Express nitrous 25 dry shot (.20) with methanol injection 1350 ml/min as fueling tuned by Vishnutuning using Procede Rev 2.5 piggyback tuned to 15 psi.. Installed on the car is a bottle heater, automatic bottle opener, purge kit, a WOT microswitch, rpm window switch, custom nitrous activation button to trigger the nitrous, when all three conditions are met the nitrous will spray..When nitrous is triggered a secondary methanol power nozzle is injecting 375ml/min in conjunction with a main methanol nozzle already injecting 625ml/min prior to nitrous activation, for a total of 1350ml/min of 80/20 meth/water meth injection.. Works very well for the fueling of the nitrous..Logs show .A/f is 11.2 to 12 and timing is 10 degrees and flat with no timing drops whatsoever!!!. All the data leads me to believe that I can go much higher in terms of jets. Its not max power but I am starting low and may move up to a .31 in the summer, but for the moment I am quite happy with the results of performance enhancements with nitrous and methanol injection..Right now there is no traction as it! The N54 takes to nitrous very well and the performance is superb on even a small shot that I have tested...Although I am new to nitrous, I spent alot of time installing the system to make it look as clean as possible..Took me over a month to get it installed and functional.. Now its all about testing and finding out what power level I want to be at and SAFE..

Here is the location of the nozzle for the jet...I forgot to add this picture..Its installed right after the intercooler before the methanol nozzles and throttle body.

Just added a nitrous filter to the solenoid...I wasnt comfortable with the 1/8 to 4 AN filter as it was just a little mesh piece that supposedly would keep out debris and dirt, I dont buy it and it looks cheap so I changed it out and bought a Dyno Tune filter..Made of Billet Aluminum with a filter about 1 inch long inside the casing...It screws right onto the solenoid.

Here is a log of one of my runs from 0-115...Dry shot .20 jet, 1300 ml/min of 90/10 meth/water mix, 15.5 psi boost, bottle pressure 1000psi, A/F hovering from 11.2 to 12.5 and timing from 4 degrees ramping up to 10 degrees..2nd to 4 gear pull.
Ambient temps around 40 degrees and at the end of the run the IATs were a chilly 31 degrees!

Nitrous is on when methanol flow is at 28 and is off when methanol flow is at 21..

What do you guys think of the logs and how the car is running with my setup?

ya know ya got to be careful with filters...if there too fine of a mesh they have been known to freeze up.
even the wire mesh ones that are in the fitting can, it's best to just make sure that when you refill the bottle that "its" filtered.
I've never ran a filter and tore out the ones in the fitting.

Matt.

Well I took out the wire mesh fitting from the equation and the Dynotune filter element looks like somekind of round griddy hard material that is porous, its definitely not mesh material for sure...When you refill the bottle the best case scenario to getting it filtered, but you can't monitor the filling station and what they do with their refills...My place I leave it there for 2 hours and have to come back to get it, as they are busy..Either way I have this filter which is pretty good IMO
