Hi,

my nitro system currently does not respond to the start button. engine first loses, then gets the power. The same happens when I switch to any speed. first in the second and the third and the fourth. power loss is about 0.5 seconds after that she is working properly. I noticed that the system responds better when the pressure in the bottle is less. my system is hand made. See photos of the system and may see an error. jets are 0028 and 0016. works well when the pressure is about 950 psi and 1000 psi, but the there is my problem. My car is Trabant with engine from audi S2.

Regards,
Miljan

Looking at the pictures, that's a lot of nitrous line and manifold to fill. I would think your problem is a lack of a purge setup? Install the purge solenoid as close to that nitrous manifold as you can get it, purge off the nitrous line before you want to use it. The lose of power is from a super rich condition before the nitrous gets to the foggers. The fuel is a lot closer to the action then the nitrous (Nitrous turns back into a gaseous state when left to sit in the line, so it needs to be purged to be in liquid forum and ready to rock)

I can only suggest the system feels better at lower bottle pressure, because the hit is less dramatic/noticeable. After the system is up and pulling hard, try backing off for a moment and then getting back on it, was it instant that time? If so, definitely a line fill issue and a purge will fix it.

it maybe because of the pump, when you press the nos - The nitrous goes first but it gas not enouth fule so it decreses hp, then eventualy the fule gets pump, it mixes with nos and it gain power- Need a new better fule pump :D

I had the same problem before turned out to be the nitrous solenoid. Not sure what was wrong but all I did was change the metal part and kept the same coil and it work perfect. This would explain it working better at lower pressures.

A purge will not fix it and it is not a lack of fuel. If it was a lack of fuel it would pop forsure. And I have never seen where a purge has helped that much, even on a -6 feed line
