Pre nitrous the best I've been able to run was a 13.312 @ 101.60, with a 1.910 60ft using drag radials. However last time at the track when I got this PB, my e-brake was broken, and I wasn't able to heat up the Dr's properly.

My mods include:

thrasher Cold Air Intake w/ 9" K&N Cone filter
Xtreme Energy Camshaft (comp cams)
Diamond Pistons, .020" over bore w/Ceramic coating
Manley Gen II Stainless Steel Valves
Comp Cams 105# Valve Springs
Manley Titanium Retainers
Gen III Eaton M90 Supercharger (stock)
3.2" Supercharger pulley (stock = 3.8")
SLP Headers
No CAT
Magnaflow Glasspacked resonator 3" inlet/outlet
3" piping back to flowmaster Delta 40's.
Overkill Performance Innovations Custom tuned PCM
180* Thermostat (stock 195*)
Aux. Tranny Cooler

Before I purchase my nitrous I'll be doing a few things to it.

1.) Upgrading from stock injectors to Lucas 42.5# Fuel Injectors.
2.) Upgrading to a Racetronix Fuel Pump
3.) Installing a custom made nitrous arming switch, that when activated sends a signal to the IAT sensor telling the PCM it's receiving -40* C temps, reducing the advance ignition timing back to 14*.
4.) Rebuilding stock supercharger, and upgrading LIM gaskets.

Then I'll be putting in a Zex Dry kit, utilizing a Throttle Body spacer to install the nitrous injector. Single outlet nitrous purge. Bottle heater, and remote bottle opener.

I also need to get some tubing for my nitrous pressure gauge. That way I can open the bottle, and monitor the pressure, all while I'm sitting in the driver's seat.

Anyone have any experience with the Zex Dry kits?

The latest is I got the kit installed, it was pretty fun trying to get the quirks out. We couldn't figure out how to rig up the window switch, so I just went without it. The wiring schematics, plus anything else, did not help with figuring out what wire we needed to tap into for the rpm output.

It's a zex dry kit, shooting through a ZZPerformance Throttle Body Spacer. After the MAF, and before the Supercharger.

Testing it out, we found that I had around 5º of KR because of the Long Term Fuel Trims. The PCM read really rich, so it would learn to take away fuel. So the next time I go WOT and spray, the PCM was thinking it automatically needed to take away the extra fueling for the nitrous, and created the Knock retard.

So, we ended up needing to reset the fuel trims before every time I sprayed the nitrous. Which is really annoying. So I'm probably going to convert it to a wet setup.

But the result was a wopping 12.699 @ 108.84. And I don't know how the scans looked with that, because it's on my friends laptop, which he lent out to a friend....and hasn't got it back yet.

Here's some pics of the burnouts:

I have kind of a random question, how are the short blocks in the supercharged engines diffrent than the standard V6 or are they pretty much the same?

The L67 vs the L36 has different pistons, lower compression. I believe 8.5:1 CR vs the N/A L36 which has, 9.6:1 IIRC. Really that's the only difference, that I would be able to tell you.

Of course, mine has been rebuilt, and bored with Diamond Pistons, .020" over.

l67's are good motors, one of my fiero buddies has one in his fiero... he has it setup for 11.3 on the stock bottom end without nitrous and I believe he daily drives it in the summer. he still gets between 25-30mpg's also, lol. good engines!
