Can someone please explain how the wires go hooked up to the remote bottle switch, in NOS's diagram black from the valve closes and red opens. Now I want the switch to close when pushed down and open when pushed up. According to the diagram black wire from valve goes to top or to open, and red which opens the valve goes to close. Question is do I run my black were to where I want the switch to control ? Again looking to open with switch up and close with switch down or does it matter ?

I believe I have that wiring diagram on my site. I too once used that valve. If it isn't there, maybe go to the NOS site? I found the diagram on the web somewhere as I bought the kit used. I just sold it with directions included off my site, so no longer posses the wiring diagram.

Hi Robert

I did go to the site, but the switch is confusing, if black closes at the noid shouldn't it go to the terminal you want the switch to close at ? and vice versa ?

Thanks,

All I know is that I used the NOS wiring diagram and it worked like it should. Call their tech line and get your answers that way? I looked in my stuff to see if I had made a copy, but to no avail.

If you can post up the wiring diagram, someone here will be able to help no doubt. Or email me a copy and I can get it loaded on my web and show it here.

Just make sure you use a momentary switch not a normal arming switch. On those solenoids the wiring is like this; black is 12v to close, red is 12v to open and white is the ground. If you tried to use a normal arming switch it could damage the coil by running voltage to it continuously.

Yes, I used a momentary. Just want to make sure my orientation with the black & red, since I want the throw downward to be close and vice versa.
