Nos Intimidator Led's

Trying to install my intimidator led's. Do they have to be mounted on top of the cowling because that makes it very noticeable, or if you mounted below does it still shine strong enough. Although mounting it on top give the led better support.

If you mount them below the cowl the light will be obstructed and probably wont even be noticed unless the hole in the cowl is big enough.

Ok,

the cowling has slots probably half the size of the led housing. but on a small sports car it's quite noticeable, also concern about it coming lose and breaking off if outside the cowling ?
