I own a 1991 MR2, swapped with a V6 out of a 93 camry, the 3vz-fe. I've done basic bolt-ons, intake/exhaust and am still wanting more power :)

I've done alot of reading about nitrous and think it is a good idea. I've planned to run a 75 shot using a nos wet sniper kit. I always run 93 oct, even though 87 is fine. I currently have 17 deg advanced timing but I will set it back down to stock 10 deg before I install the nitrous kit. I have new oem spark plugs, fuel filter in preperation for the nitrous. Planning on putting the bottle/solenoids in the trunk.

I have also heard from a friend that I should have my cat removed because it can be damaged while using nitrous and can hurt my motor, however the information I found said otherwise, I'm wondering what you guys think.

Anyways, any advice for me? This would be my first time running nitrous.

the cat should be fine. nitrous isn't going to make it fail any faster.

also consider going one step colder on the plugs.

the solenoids need to be as close to the motor as possible. the shorter the lines to the nozzle, the quicker it reacts. plus i don't know of anyone running 10ft of line from the solenoids to the nozzle.
