Hey everybody!!! I'm new to the site and fairly new to Nitrous. I've had my Zex wet kit on my 1999 Chevy S10 4.3L for almost a year. It was completely dyno tuned. I'm running a 125 shot and loving it!! It is a daily driver and a "Sleeper". My touneau cover covers the 2 - 10 lb. bottles and all the plumbing is hidden. :) I also fill my own bottles and if anyone that is local needs a fill hit me up. I also go to the Gainesville Raceway when I have time(the key is when I have time). I haven't been in months and I have changed A LOT on my truck since the last time I went. Talk to you all later.

Welcome. I bet that 125 shot adds a nice kick to that truck.

It's not crazy fast but it definatly catches people off guard. That 125 shot feels good!! A few months back I was running mid to high 14's. My reaction time was pretty good, however I couldn't launch over 1500 RPM's. I couldn't hook up and I couldn't spray until I got into 2nd gear or it would break the tires loose(It has a B&M shift kit also). I have changed suspension and tires since my last trip to the track and I think I should be able to hook up now. That should drop me into the 13's. :) I'd be happy with a "Sleeper" that ran 13's!!!!

Here is a link to youtube. This was a few months back and I was just being funny! I just installed my new tires on the truck yesterday. The new ones are BF Goodrich T/A 295/50/16

I'm heading to the track tonight and I'll let you all know what I run. If I can keep the tires to the ground I should have my "best" times to date. :) My wife is going too and she always rides in the truck with me, even though she hates it.

What a great night to race. High 60's, no bugs, and not a lot of people at the track. I ran 4 times(I could have run more but I was hungry) and the left lane sucked, No traction at all!! The right lane was a little bit better but I was still spinning bad, running a 15 flat @ 88mph. I couldn't launch over 1500rpm or I'd smoke the tires and I couldn't spray until second gear, and I ripped another motor mount I think. It was binding up bad. Back to the drawing board again!! This weekend I'm installing the 2500 Stall Converter, New motor mounts, and Chaining the motor down and I'll be ordering the CE Slide-A-Link soon.
