i just got the jetting for the compucar dry kit that they send out... they send a 39, 46,63,76,86....hey say that the 46 equals out to around 50hp...so are their jets that much different or does their system flow that much different than others becaus a 46 seems large for a 50hp gain....

it depends with compucar. i got mine from a mustang. the jet rating was higher than for my TA i was using it on. the 150 setting for the 5.0 was actually only about 120 for my 5.7 according to them. i guess they base on cubic inches as well.
in theory, a particular amount of nitrous will produce xx amount of hp regardless of motor. then again, a 2.0 4 cylinder has way less volume than a 7.0 motor. and you have to fill that volume.
which reminds me, haven't seen you around since one of the admins wiped out the message board at centralfloridastreetracing.org. i tried to fix it to no avail.

Yeah with CFSR Justin didnt renew because of the lack of activity due to the errors and such we had which made people never come back, and the site stayed up a couple of months after then it went blank. Ive been thinking about getting something similar going again in a couple of months.
i've had my ups and downs with this board...learning new things daily. let me know if i can assist :thumb_yello:

the website is still up just not the board itself. i was just there. somehow, the password was changed to access the server itself for me to fix. i tried what i could through the message board to no avail. i would have to reinstall a new board and he'd have to start over. i tired contacting him one night via AIM and he said not to bother him and it was costing him money to talk to me via AIM. he had his AIM sent to his phone. texting costs money. i haven't heard from him since. so, i just assume he doesn't want it fixed.

This is compucars nitrous in a bag kit. I called them today and those are the jet #'s that come in the kit when the ship it out... But i just found it odd how a 76 jet with their kit is only around a 125...but with a NOS dry kit it would be a lot larger...So is this kit that much different than other kits???

weird. because 76 for the LS1 is 200 for the wet kit.

Yeah hes been pretty involved with applying to Law school, plus he went and got his real estate license and he had surgery on his leg and has been on crutches for the past 5 months... If you want to do something with the site again ill try talking to him and see if theres a way to transfer stuff over to you....I think maybe the old web design company might have been pissed after justin disputed his credit card and got all his money back and they deleted everything

no, i had control of the website and was making the changes after all of that. one of the people he made admin over there went in and deleted all of the forums one day. i didn't have a recent backup of the message board when whoever it was did that. i asked him over AIM if he did it and he said no. i told him i would do what i could and haven't heard from him since. so, my assumption is he gave up. they haven't deleted anything. we changed all of the passwords, so they couldn't get in.

the solenoid it comes with only has a .076 orifice. back when i had the 71 jet in mine, i made 136 rwhp. the restriction is the small solenoid.
i did a test comparing the nx and ny-trex nozzle. while i was at it, i also tried out a larger solenoid to test the theory of 70% jet size to orifice size maxing out the solenoid efficiency.

cliff notes:
gained 18.5 rwhp moving from .081" orifice to .125" orifice solenoid using the exact same .063: jet.
