I'm Jonathan from Guadalajara Mexico and i just bought my NX wet nitrous kit to be installed on my 2006 Mitsu Eclipse GT tomorrow, i will be putting 100 shot.
I'm new on this and this is the first time i will be using Nitrous, it is nice to have a forum like this! Hope i can learn a lot here!!
Anything i should know about my next step on adding power to my ride would be appreciate it!

Welcome
It might be wise to run a smaller shot at first and then work you way up to a 100 shot if you have no problems.

Yea, with your first time especially, starting a little smaller and working up will definitely help (with the smaller shot, your tune can be off some and it not hurt the engine like with the big shot)

I just got my N2O kit installed yesterday and I listened to you guys, when we went out for testing we started with only 50 shot. The first run I launched it in second shift and felt a little increment of power but not to much but it felt alright to know my car was still OK after the first shot. I stopped at a red light and launched the car again but I forgot to switch the nitrous off, but fortunately nothing happened because it was only 50 shot I guess.
Then I went back to the garage to increment the shot to 75, made some tests again and I knew I was ready to go straight to the 1/4mile. Went there and I recorded 7 tenths less than usually. I think that is not to bad for a 75 shot.
Now that I have tested my car and know it’s alright with 75 I want to go for a 100 Shot. But for this I would like to install some protection in my car, something that could launch the nitrous after second shift 3500+ RPM’s and cut it before 6300RPM’s more or less.
I’m using a NX #20923-10. Do anyone know what could be the right stuff for me???
Nitrous is FUN!!!

I don't know the answer to your question, but...if you wait until 2nd gear until you activate the NOS, you won't get as much impact from the NOS. The sooner you activate the NOS in you run, the more ET benefit you will see. If you activate it later you will see an improvement in the MPH but not as much in the ET.
Good luck, sounds like you are having fun!

I've been told many times not to launch it in 1st gear because it's too risky for the engine and transmision and do it on 2nd to be safe specially if i want to put 100 shot.
Is that true?? or it does not make any difference??

I don't know about your appliction (eg, your car) and whether it would be safe to spray in first gear or not. I can tell you from my experience that the sooner you start to spray, the more bang-for-the buck result you will get with the ET.
Whether you spray in first gear would be dictated by the ability of you car to handle it, the available traction, etc. If you are afraid that your car can't handle it, maybe you should use a progressive controller to lessen the impact or just start to spray in second gear like you're planning. Just saying that you would get more benefit if you could start spraying sooner in the run.

There are a few controllers out there that can handle activating the nitrous and progressively ramping it up (or with a first gear lock-out feature) and cut it off at whatever rpm you want. As for what product to use, I'm not sure, but just look around some of the n2o websites and see what they have that fits your needs.
