Ive got a issue going on and not sure what it is.Truck comes out of the hole very strong WOT with nitrous on,go to 2nd and doesnt pull as well then I go to third and BOOM flame ball comes from under the hood.I ran three times with same results everytime.
Its a 408 SBF,afr hears,super vic,carb shop carb.hdy roller cam.Gemini plate nitrous setup(200 shot)Timing is a 32 total.
I got a BG 2000HP pump with a 8 feed and 6 return. Two regs one for carb and one for nitrous.Carb is set on 5PSI and nitrous side is set for 10PSI.I was told that I cant get two different PSI running a return style pump setup.Anytips on this or how my fuel system should be setup. Thanks guys.

well let's see what we can figure out.
what rpm do you shift at and what does it fall to between shift?
what bottle pressure are you starting at.
10psi for the nitrous sound's a little high, is it a NX system?
also what style of reg's are you using for both carb/ nitrous?
are you using a fuel pressure safty switch and if so what is it set to ? (could be cutting on /off).
let's start there o.k.
Matt.

Shift at 6500 not really sure how much it falls between shifts.Pressure is at 900PSI, its a NX gemini plate kit.Carb reg is a holly and Nitrous fuel reg is a aeromotive. Not running a fuel pressure safty switch. Thanks so much for reply.

sorry missed your reply (the new formate I guess lol.)
you should have no problem getting the f/p you need with that pump.
I try a little more f/p on the carb side to start.
you did'nt say or I missed it but this is a stick shift yes?

Running a 3 speed C6 manual valve body.I was told I couldnt run two diff fuel pressures say 6 on carb and 10 on Nitrous fuel, with a return style system.

yes return for the carb only. deadhead the 803.
check for any vacume leak's, also do you run a power valve ( if so I'd check it also you may have blow'n it out with the backfire's you've had )
Matt.
sorry you should switch the reg's around the holley ( 803 I assume) for the nitrous no return and the areomotive for the carb and return it.
