After a miserable outing at the track this weekend(never even made it to tech) I've been bending hammered54, and jjvette's ears off :). Thanks for the words of wisdom. I'm in the process of regrouping. I pulled the intake off and found a major probelm w/ the felpro gaskets not sealing any of the intake runners. Both sides were soaked in gas, and they weren't stuck to either the head or the intake. Any way while I was taking off the intake I noticed the design of the intake opening was restricting the hell out of the perimeter plate. So here are some before and after shots...

might as well port match the intake now with the new "fel pro performance" and get rid of that chrome therostat cover!!! it WILL leak garoteed!

The chrome matches the undercarriage neon lights. He can't get rid of that!

Looks good. That should work out.
