most on any stock engine

Just trying to get an idea here. lol

What is the best stock engine (any) to spray on.
I know 200shots are not uncommon on 5.0 and ls1s but i want to test the limits ;)
Its going to be a budget car nonetheless.

im hitting a heads/cam ls1 with a 175 shot. car makes 440 at the wheels. stock short block.

I didnt think stock motors like 5.o and ls1's could hold that much,,,

I have a 1986 dodge d150 pick up with the stock 318 engine that Im putting a kit on whats the max I could get away with

everything is stock except intake manifold and carb,headers.

Some of the stock motors produced like 90-93 5.0 HO and LS1 & LS2 are built very well by the manufactures. They tipically contain Hypereutectic pistons, which are way better then cast ones. However the typical production motor isn't built that way. For any stock motor, forgein or domestic the safest HP level for nitrous use is no more then 20HP per cylinder. ( example 4cyl. 80hp- 6cyl. 120HP- 8cyl.160HP) Use this as a general rule of thumb and you will have no problems. Also you should use a standard style spark plug one heat range cooler, no platinum plugs! Feel free to check out my website

i ran 175 wet on stock TPI motor just fine, my new set up is fully built and runs 300 in a 2 stage :wiggle:

I'm running a 100hp wet shot on my stock 5.7l chevy with 200k mile's...you should be safe..

i have 50k miles on my car an its got 3.73 gears 2 stage cooler spark plugs an a cai an under drive pullys.... so the 125shot should work fine with no stand alone fuel system

My friend Bruce was running over a 300 shot on a stock shortblock 5.0, but they didn't last very long, but they made a few passes before giving up the ghost.
