I am having an Edelbrock #71900 controller installed and looking for feed back on product. Seems like alot of bang for the buck? Opinions?
Thanks, first nitrous install.

well let me tell ya, they are very sensative to interferance, I have one and after almost 2 year's I can not get it to operate while the motor is running.
not saying it's a bad unit, more than likely my car, everyone that I know that is using their's swear's by it, that's why I got one, and I will get it to work soon just need to track down the glitch.

I have no experience with the Edlebrock but I have an FJO controller and love it! It's never given me even one issue.

It sounds like it might be getting some interference from your ignition. This was a problem with the NOS 15834 digital controller and while I am not certain of all the details of the Edelbrock control you might try insulating the box and see if that helps the problem.

What did you use for the enclosure? From my experience it has to be either aluminum or copper and the enclosure should be grounded. Also you may need to shield the wires coming and going out as well. They make a type of sheathing that looks like a ground strap and is made of copper unfortunately I can not remember what it is called right now (I will try and find out and post back) run the wiring through that and then ground one side of it. The Edelebrock box is made by Schnitz which is the same people that made the NOS 15834 and those were always really sensitive to this sort of stuff and is why I tend to shy away from them, however when they work they work very well.
