I hooked up a NOS 5115 Kit for a 5.0 on my 4.6. When I put in the jets for the *75* shot, the fuel regulator pegs at almost 90 pounds! Has anyone else done this or had this problem? Anyone know what would be a good Jet set to use? I figure if I open up the fuel jet a little, the pressure wont peg so high. If anyone has any ideas please chime in. Thanks!

Bob

Was it a brand new 05115 or was it used? If it was used make sure it doesn't have the shim in regulator. The bypass tee should be a 59 jet. The current NOS tees are non adjustable so you would either need to get one that is or get the fixed .059 tee.

I'm not sure off hand what jet I have in it. The regulator might have the shim in it, i dont know, how do i check? But i have a BBK fuel pressure regulator, shouldnt that dictate the fuel pressure?

When the nitrous activates it rasies the fuel pressure which is how it gets the fuel for the nitrous. If you screw the top of the blue nitrous regulator off there is a spring in there, look under the spring if there is a small brass washer remove it. That is only used in the larger jettings.
