I was curious,if u were to set this system for a 100 shot and then turn the knob on the MAF in 85 degree weather and then tune via a WB would u then need to retune the A/F in 45 degree weather?

I would think the car would go rich as the temps dropped since the IAT would be seeing a colder base temp?

Or am I totally wrong in my thinking?
Just curious because I happen to love this new idea of a dry kit from NX..

Robert could u answer this for me?
I have only used Dry via a DFI/FAST/BSIII...

if you are refering to the one that 383LQ4SS designed and NX is going to be producing, the knob is used to direct the flow of nitrous around the MAF wires, not the IAT sensor.

It would stay relative as your n/a fueling does know. the outside temp will not effect your WOT commanded a/f ratio while spraying using the MAF kit or any other dry method. This is one of the reasons that dry hits are so great, IMO. A wet kit will in fact vary day to day on the a/f ratio because a static fixed mechanical jet has no way to adjust itself when the weather changes.

I have a prototype/beta 90mm MAF dry kit coming, and it should be here any day. I will be adding it as one of my stages, then will be doing a complete write-up of my findings, good, bad or ugly. Yes, Al is the man whom took my nozzle tuning method into the next century. he has an engineers mind, and although I had the grasp on what was happening, he fine tuned and ironed it out so all of us could dial the a/f in with out any trouble at all. I can't wait. Between that product and the Dry plate kits utilizing the Interface for fueling, us n2o junkies are in seventh heaven, and esp the dry camp. I will post pictures and what ever my first impressions are the same day i get it. :thumb_yello:

He never did send me one, even after sending hime a new Z06 MAF. However, he did state he would tell me how to do it should i want to myself. Prob not as the dry plate, IMO, is the #1 route to take for dry hits; electronic over mechnical. All mechanical things have a fail rate and this is built into the business end of things, actually there is a formula of some sort so those selling big time amounts can factor in the loses from the failure rate. Electronics fall in to the mass production fail rate, but that is it, not also the mech fail rate, so electronics for some reason get a better fail rate. I know, what the hell are ya talking about, LOL. Seems that NX is having problems of some sort as the release dated has changed so many times that I don't even try and following along anymore. That is a shame though, as they could have sold a ton of them by now.
