We have been running a 79 foxbody Mustang this year at the 1/8 mile running 7.50 with 100 shot nitrous and 1.60 60 feet. 302 with trans brake, 4.10 gears 8in slicks. Twice this yearwe have crakced open and stripped out the inside splines of the froward drum and twisted the input shaft where it goes into the convertor (3000 stall 10" convertor).
So this time we are installing a hardened input shaft and a heavey duty drum. The only difference in the drums you can compare inthe pictures is the new one besides not cracked open is the peanuts holes around the hub are welded shut.<br>
