If you haven’t heard by now, the inaugural 2006 International Ford Mustang Global Dyno Day presented by Mustang 5.0 and Superfords Magazine and Mustang Dynamometer is fast approaching. It’s happening throughout the country and Central Florida’s event is happening right here at PDQ Performance Warehouse. PDQ Performance Warehouse is the location of choice by the SPEED channel to provide coverage. There is a small fee for the pulls (to be determined). The first ever International Ford Mustang Global Dyno-Day will occur this October 14-15 in 50+ Performance Shops in the United States and Canada. We expect this event will stand as the largest Dyno-Day ever to take place in the world.
50+ shops have been hand picked by Mustang Dynamometer based on geographic location, ownership of a Mustang brand chassis dynamometer and services offered.
Only Ford Mustang’s qualify for the event. All results will be posted on the official Dyno-Day website following the event, including the owner’s name, a description of the vehicle, a static photo of the vehicle and a graphical result of the power pull. Six classes have been established as have rules and guidelines for this event.
The classes include:
1. 5.0 liter stock block naturally aspirated
2. 5.0 liter stock block with single power adder
3. 5.0 liter stock block with two power adders
4. 4.6 liter stock block naturally aspirated
5. 4.6 liter stock block with single power adder
6. 4.6 liter stock block with two power adders

Trophies and prizes will be awarded following the event. First class will receive a trophy and prizes, Second and Third place prizes will be awarded as well. Trophies will be issued by Mustang 5.0 and Superfords Magazine. Every step will be taken to insure a level and fair playing field. As should be expected, Mustang Dynamometer and Mustang 5.0 and Superfords are dedicated to making this event a memorable one – not only this year but for years to come.
