I would like to run a 100 shot but i dont know if that is too much? I was told to get a window switch as well. My car is a 6 speed and i hac intake exhaust and GIAC Chip.. Let me know if im ok or where im wrong please.. btw im in Gaithersbur MD and i dont even know where to fill it..lol....

Welcome to the forums! My advice would be to start with a 50 horse jetting and work up from there. I'm not familiar with VW performance, so I couldn't tell you what it can actually take. As far as the other mods, the performance chip could be a problem, as they usually advance ignition timing. When using nitrous, you actually want some timing retard to prevent detonation.

As far as fill stations, I live in Elkridge, so I know a few places in the general area. Absolute Pro-Formance in Finksburg was at 4.50/lb last year, JE Imort Tuning in Baltimore was at 5.25/lb, Ellisons Machine Shop in Glen Burnie was (eek!) 6.00/lb. I'm sure there's more around, but those are the places I've gone.

The first thing i want to do is be SAFE... so should i not consider a system or is there solution to this could-be problem?

I would give an educated guess (take it for what it's worth, I don't know **** about common VW mods) that your chip could very well cause problems with spray. Depending on what kind of ecu mod it is, you may be able to get a different map burned onto that chip to compensate for nitrous use. If it's strictly a NA map on that chip, I wouldn't spray on it, as chipping (be it reprogrammable or not) will almost always advance ignition timing curves, which could spell disaster with nitrous. My advice would be to restore the ECU back to stock, and start with a 50 horse jetting. Then read the plugs from there. A 50 shot is generally safe on pretty much any 4 cylinder even with stock timing, so it should be good on your VR6. If you want to run more spray from there, I would recommend some kind of programmable ECU mod so you can get properly tuned with/without nitrous.

window switch is a great idea with a manual trans car.
