I am new to the site. I am from West TN and I run a 3200lb 1993 mustang with a 434sbf , PTC glide and converter, unported victor jr heads, pro systems carb and a big shot plate kit(175 shot). The best 1/8th mile time to date is a 5.93@114 with a 1.32 60' on 275/60 M/T drag radials. I am currently in the process of making some changes to my setup. I am changing to a set of TEA 245cc High Port heads and thinking of switching to a double cross plate. Has anybody on here ever had any testing with the dbl cross plate? The series I run limit the nitrous jet to a .073 for a single spray bar plate and a .053 for a dbl cross plate on both spray bars. Which plate do you guys think will make more power???

Welcome. The cross plate with a .053 jet is gonna be a 300 horse tune up.Your big shot plate with a .073 jet is gonna be 175hp.I would go with the cross plate.I would also re read the rules on nitrous because that doesnt sound quite right.I got the jetmaps right off holley's web site. You'll find them in the instruction download. That car is gonna be an animal

most of the nitrous shops I talk to say the jetting from NOS is way off!! I was just wondering if anybody on here has had any personal experiance with the dbl cross plate and what jetting they used. We are hoping the heads will pick the car up a couple of tenths anyway. The front runners run 5.60's@120-122mph. Maybe we can keep up next year.

I got a dbl cross plate and with 2 65 s on the nitrous side and 2 60 s on the fuel side at 8 psi fuel press and 990 psi in the bottle dyno tested on a 397 inch sbc that was a 377 hp gain. I would run it just because it has better spray pattern than single bar plate.
