many different kinds on the market. from the basic wrap around the bottle to bottle bracket heater. this is useful in getting the pressure where needed. NX makes one called the fire and ice. maintains the pressure at whatever you set it at.

Blankets they keep the bottle pressure stabilized by preserving the heat inside it. In the summer they insulate to keep the sun and excessive ambient temperatures out.

That picture of the NOS heater is not of the current one. That is one of the first designs. It hasn't been made in several years the main problem with it was it got very hot and could catch things on fire. I have seen one melt the carpet in a trunk before. NOS then switched to the current 300 watt larger element that they are still using in all their heaters, both the thermostatically controlled ones and the one with the pressure switch.

I really like the NX Fire & Ice. It's looks very nice, is super-easy to install and works as advertised.

x2, I definately like it. I just wish it cooled better! I'm thinking about getting a blanket and cutting a hole in it for the heat exchanger, that may keep the bottle from heat soaking as much as it does.

I agree. I also wish it cooled better. But at least it cools. Nothing else on the market does that. Except the Nitrousaurus-X, but I'm not putting that ugly lunch box looking thing in the bed of my hoopty.:D

Here's what I'm talking about in case you're wondering...

Eeeeww... They couldn't make one, oh I don't know... Black! Plus it's pretty hefty on the price tag and seems to be temp, not pressure controlled.

Yeah, it looked more like a belt than a blanket. :)

Here is a pic of the current one to add to the thread.
