Some of you here work on cars for a living...some do it as a hobby. So besides workin under the hood all day, what do you do on your free time?

I'm a reptile lover, and a computer nerd. I enjoy 3D modeling, animation, graphic design, and mostly web site design. It's pathetic, i know...i bought a laptop computer so i could have internet access anywhere I go...

I also enjoy being a forum *****

Well my loves are motorbikes and drag racing (cars the wife won't let me race bikes anymore :( ) I build trail ready Jeeps as my main business and supply race parts for drag boys. ( www.fte.co.uk (http://www.fte.co.uk)) I am also renovating a house at the moment.

As an owner of a speed shop, i'm around cars all day every day.... but usually have very little time for my own cars..... anything motorsport is a hobby, and i don't mind going for a cruise on my Yamaha Warrior road bike....

I like to spend the majority of my time with/around cars. I usually hit up the local bars once or twice a week when the good beer specials are going on and the women are out. Every one of my friends is obsessed with cars as well so it works out for me.

Other than that I'm pretty much a loser :D

geez, hobbies, where to begin. well, first I love doing stuff to my car. Even just lifting the hood and looking at it feels good to me (I'm not weird). Besides that, I'm a pretty big computer/vide game buff. I'll play just about anything on X-Box, and the same for my computer. I also love four-wheelers. I own a Honda 400EX, and every member in my family owns a bike. We have a total of 6 right now, trying to sell the extra one (PM if interested :D ). And when i get really bored, I'll pull out my X-Mod. R/C car you can buy from Radio Shack. You can spend hundreds on these things upgrading them, although the Shack only offers about $150 worth of upgrades. There's tons of aftermarket stuff you can get for them, and I've got one that supposedly does 45mph. Most of the work I've done myself (here's where some of my electrical experience comes from;) ). It's amazing to watch a 1/25 scale electric car do that speed, and it's even more amazing to watch some people actually control them:eek: . Dang, this's a pretty long post just to say what I do when I'm bored.....

besides neglecting the family and spending hours on the internet taking care of four other websites i manage/own, i run an alignment/suspension shop by day. hobbies, hmmm, trying to figure out how to get to the track more often. trying to run a 10 on a completely stock LS1 motor in my 00 formula. motor is stock from TB to exhaust manifolds. getting closer.

how about a diet plan or are you trying to get there with the interior. if you are shooting for 10's on the bottle it can be done on the stock motor as you said we have a customer doing it with a bone stock ls1 and lots of squeeze and suspension mods pulls like 1.2 60' times crazy ride!!

he put a cam in with no headers? i don't even have headers. my best 60ft was 1.709 with the 4.10 gears i used to have. i now have 3.73 and get a 1.75 60ft. GM made two of the slowest LS1 cars on the planet. i bought both of them. well, maybe just one of them. my black car is keeping up with the wife's car which had cam, heads, full exhaust.

currently have a two stage nitrous setup on the car. a 75 and 150 shot. i only got two runs in the last time i was out on the new set up. current ET is in the sig. believe it or not, i spun on the 75 shot with the rpms at 2000 on MT ET Streets.

eventually, i'm heading out to a better prepped track and i know i'll get closer if it doesn't pop first.

realistically, 11.2x i'd be happy. 10.99 and i'd retire the motor and put it in a glass cabinet. yes, i want to do it in full trim. will be adding skinnies and MT DRs. i have the weld 15 x 10 with 275/50-15 DRs on them. just need the fronts.

LOL!! to many cars to keep track of!! his mods that i know of are CAM HEADERS with TSP x-pipe, SFC's, CA's, 4.10, MAJOR DIET PROGRAM, DUAL STAGE NY-TREX NITROUS KIT, SLP CAI, 90 MM TB, MEZEIRE WP, I BELIEVE HE HAD SOME PORT WORK DONE ON HEADS, WITH GMS ROCKER ARMS 1.7?, SPEC CLUTCH, PERCY'S SPEEDGLASS LEXAN WINDOWS, SKINNIES, 9.5IN SLICK, MSD COILS AND WIRES, ETC. It is a sweet ride, i'll post some picks. cleanest street/strip car i've seen around. 1.4 60' not 1.2'
